Daria began her legal career at major international consulting firms, including DLA Piper, Dentons, and KPMG. She later specialized in intellectual property, which has since become her passion.


Daria deepened her expertise in international projects related to the development and commercialization of copyright-protected products while serving as a key legal expert at the Intellectual Property Center of a leading Russian oil producer.


Daria has received the Gazprom Neft "People of Progress" recognition for her contributions to intellectual property-related deals and projects. She is also a regular speaker at legal conferences, including major intellectual property forums, industry academies, and startup accelerators.


At Bytes&Rights, Daria heads the CIS practice and advises clients on launching new products and deals with intellectual property rights.

Several of Daria’s latest and major projects include:

- Commercialization of software products in the countries of the Middle East, including the creation and elaboration of approaches to protection of intellectual property assets, and preparation of binding contracts to sell the finished product in the Middle East market.

- Development of software alienation to a Kazakh company under US law.

- Commercialization of complex software - a cyber hydraulic fracturing simulator - through joint work with consortium participants: MIPT (Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology), Gazprom Neft, and other Russian universities.

- Full legal support for the launch of a social platform in CIS countries, the European Union, and the USA, including personal data compliance concerns, drafting a set of agreements with online users and business partners, obtaining intellectual property rights from employees and contractors, and assistance in structuring Value Added Tax compliance.

- Purchasing a virtual private network and bringing its services and documents into conformity with relevant legal requirements.

- Establishing a legal framework and drafting required documents between the Russian, Chinese, and European (CASP) payment providers, as well as drafting necessary contracts.

- Legal assistance for the deployment of an internet gaming provider.
